A local authority in the North West is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of housing refurbishment and capital construction projects on an initial 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide commercial and cost management across construction projects.
- Manage pre and post contracts.
- Administer contracts and manage change control, valuations, and final accounts.
- Support procurement and tender processes.
- Monitor budgets, risks, and project financial performance.
- Provide advice on contractual matters to project teams.
Requirements
- Degree or Charteredship in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
- Strong experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
- Strong commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
