Rail Site Engineer (With PTS) at Gortmore Limited, Wembley

PTS Rail Site Engineer –  Wembley - Up to £350 a day

 Leading Civils Client is seeking a Rail Site Engineer with PTS for a contract up to 3 Months Minimum

You will be managing technical engineering, setting out, and compliance on live railway infrastructure projects while adhering to strict safety rules. Plus you will be assisting with installing a footbridge

Core Responsibilities

• Setting Out & Surveys: Accurately set out lines, levels, and structures on site using total stations, GPS, or CAD data.
• Quality Assurance (QA): Conduct and record Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), track condition logs, and material checks.
• Safety & Compliance: Work safely under PTS (Personal Track Safety) guidelines, manage Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), and follow health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Documentation: Assist with Work Package Plans (WPPs), raise technical queries (TQs), and update as-built drawings. [
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with site managers, sub-contractors, and safety-critical staff during day, night, or weekend possessions.

Key Requirements

• Certifications: Valid and in-date PTS Sentinel Card (often paired with a CSCS card and D&A clearance).
