Location: Lancashire
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Role

The successful candidate will undertake reactive plumbing repairs, planned maintenance, fault-finding and remedial work across commercial and industrial properties. The role will involve supporting the company's Reactive, Service and Project Divisions as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive plumbing and maintenance call-outs.
• Diagnose faults and complete efficient, effective repairs.
• Service and maintain commercial plumbing and heating systems.
• Repair, replace and install pipework, sanitary equipment and associated components.
• Investigate leaks, water-pressure problems, blockages and system faults.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance.
• Undertake remedial work and plumbing-system upgrades.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant UK plumbing regulations, Health and Safety requirements and industry standards.
• Produce accurate service reports and job documentation.
• Identify defects, compliance concerns and recommended remedial work.
• Work effectively alongside engineers and other trades in a multi-skilled maintenance environment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, site representatives and internal teams.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A minimum of five years' experience working as a Commercial Plumber within commercial and industrial environments.
• Strong experience in reactive plumbing, maintenance, fault-finding and remedial work.
• Experience working on commercial plumbing and heating systems.
• Experience repairing, replacing and installing plumbing systems and associated equipment.
• A good understanding of relevant UK plumbing regulations, Health and Safety requirements and industry standards.
• Experience working within reactive and planned maintenance environments.
• The ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Experience working alongside other trades within a multi-skilled commercial maintenance environment.
• A flexible approach and willingness to support different divisions when required.
• A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary of up to £40,000, depending on experience.
• 24 days' annual leave, excluding bank holidays.
• Increased annual leave following three full years of service.
• Company van with optional personal use.
• Company sick pay comprising six weeks' full pay followed by six weeks' half pay. The first three days of any sickness absence are paid at Statutory Sick Pay.
• Option to purchase additional annual leave after 12 months' service.
