A well-established London law firm is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join its busy and highly regarded Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Paralegal with previous conveyancing experience to work alongside experienced fee earners on high-quality property transactions. The role offers excellent exposure to the full conveyancing process, ongoing training and strong long-term career progression.
The Real Estate Paralegal's Role
The successful Real Estate Paralegal will support fee earners with a varied caseload of property transactions from instruction through to post-completion.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with residential and commercial conveyancing transactions
- Opening files and completing AML and compliance checks
- Preparing reports on title, searches and mortgages under supervision
- Raising and reviewing enquiries on title, contract packs and searches
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Supporting exchange, completion and post-completion matters
- Drafting completion statements, invoices and legal correspondence
- Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate files
- Providing administrative support throughout the conveyancing process
The Real Estate Paralegal
- Previous conveyancing paralegal experience within a law firm
- Good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
- Experience raising enquiries and reviewing title documents
- Law degree, LPC, SQE or equivalent legal qualification preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, adaptable and able to manage multiple deadlines
