Protocol Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Reception Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Enfield from September 2026.

The successful candidate will be passionate about Early Years education and committed to creating a positive, stimulating classroom where children feel confident, valued and excited to learn.

The Role
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities for Reception pupils.
  • Follow and develop learning opportunities around the EYFS framework.
  • Support children’s personal, social and emotional development.
  • Assess and track pupil progress effectively.
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents/carers.
  • Encourage children to become confident and independent learners.
About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • QTS or a recognised Early Years teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Reception or working within an EYFS setting.
  • A strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.
  • A nurturing, creative and enthusiastic approach.
  • A commitment to ensuring every child reaches their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
