Reception Teacher

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Years teacher to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking school that is committed to providing an exceptional start to every child's education. The successful candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where children can develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a Reception class
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early child development
• Deliver creative, engaging, and play-based learning opportunities
• Be confident assessing children's progress and planning to meet individual learning needs
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Have high expectations for children's learning, behaviour, and wellbeing

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
• Supporting children's early communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal development
• Completing observations and assessments to monitor progress
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Working closely with the Early Years team to provide outstanding provision for all children

• A supportive and experienced leadership team
