Reception Teacher

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment where children can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a Reception class
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early child development
• Deliver creative, play-based learning that supports children's development across all areas of learning
• Be confident assessing children's progress and using observations to inform planning
• Have high expectations for children's learning, behaviour, and wellbeing
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Be committed to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
• Supporting children's early literacy, numeracy, communication, and personal development
• Completing observations and assessments to monitor progress and identify next steps
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and well-organised classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with the Early Years team to provide outstanding provision for all children
