Exciting Receptionist Opportunity in Glasgow!

Our client is seeking a dedicated and personable Receptionist to join their team on-site in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for providing exceptional customer service while supporting workplace operations!

Position Details:

  • Pay:£17 - £19 per hour (PAYE)
  • Start Date:Wednesday, 30th September 2026 (pending security clearance)
  • Duration:Until Friday, 30th October 2026
  • Hours:Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
  • Location:Fully onsite in Glasgow

Key Responsibilities:

Workplace Operations:

- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the workplace, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and coordinate solutions for workplace issues.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming office environment.

Front of House and Customer Service:

- Serve as the primary on-site contact for colleagues, visitors, and contractors.
- Provide a professional front-of-house service that enhances the visitor experience.
- Manage visitor access arrangements and respond promptly to inquiries.

Facilities and Supplier Coordination:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor workplace issues and ensure timely resolution to minimise disruption.

Operational Support and Administration:

- Maintain accurate workplace records and support administrative processes.
- Coordinate services including post handling and hospitality supplies.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in delivering outstanding customer service in a reception, office coordination, or similar environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
