Receptionist – 12-Week Temp to Perm Opportunity
Location: Huntingdon
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks)

The Role

Interaction Recruitment are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our client's team in Huntingdon. This is an excellent 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

As the first point of contact for employees, customers, contractors, and visitors, you'll provide a welcoming front-of-house service while supporting the HR team with a range of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome employees, visitors, customers, and contractors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage incoming telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post.
  • Respond to general enquiries or direct them to the relevant person.
  • Provide general administrative support, including electronic filing and document management.
  • Monitor the HR inbox, responding to or forwarding emails as appropriate.
  • Record employee absences on the HR system.
  • Produce weekly HR reports to support the People & Culture team.
  • Coordinate Occupational Health administration, ensuring employees attend scheduled health surveillance appointments.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable, and enjoys providing excellent customer service.

You'll ideally have:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Previous reception or front-of-house experience is desirable but not essential.
