Temporary Receptionist – Front Desk Administrator |£15.38 per hour | Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm | 3 to 6 months

Meridian Business Support are recruiting for a Temporary Receptionist to join a busy manufacturing site in Golborne. This role offers consistent weekday hours, a competitive hourly rate and the chance to build experience within a fast-paced industrial environment. This opportunity will suit an experienced Receptionist, Administrator or Office Coordinator who enjoys a varied front-of-house and office support role.

As a Receptionist / Front Desk Administrator, you will:
  • Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house service as the first point of contact for visitors, customers and contractors
  • Manage the site switchboard, visitor bookings, meeting rooms, deliveries and contractor inductions
  • Coordinate travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, taxis and external meetings
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, arrange shipments and provide tracking information
  • Support external enquiries and ensure a high standard of customer service at all times
  • Organise catering, maintain meeting rooms and ensure office areas are fully stocked and presentable
  • Monitor and order office, kitchen and PPE supplies
  • Support facilities coordination and assist with health and safety compliance processes

Skills and experience
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Administrator, Administrator or Office Coordinator
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional and confident manner
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment would be beneficial
