Job Title: Receptionist

Department: Yare Ward

Duration: This is a temporary role, and it is currently due to last roughly 12 weeks

Location: Hellesdon Hospital, Drayton High Rd, Norwich, NR6 5BE

Hours & Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm

Pay Banding: Band 2 - £12.92 per hour

Trust: Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust

The postholder must have the following experience:

Reception experience

OR

Customer Service experience in a Customer-Facing role

Job Description

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

· Call handling, face to face liaison with service users, carers and colleagues alike, data entry, typing, scanning, uploading to clinical systems.

· Previous experience of Trust IT system (Lorenzo) would be of benefit but not essential as all training will be provided.

· Previous experience of all Microsoft packages is desirable in the successful candidate.

· Resilience to support in an administrative capacity to distressing / upsetting situations ensuring the best care to our service users / carers and families.

· Ability to remain calm under pressure within a reception environment.

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
