Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to support the day-to-day running of a multi-reception site, rotating across three reception areas to deliver a consistent, high-quality front-of-house experience.

This role is central to ensuring a welcoming, organised, and secure environment for customers, visitors, and colleagues. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards across all reception spaces while delivering a seamless and professional service.

The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact on site, managing enquiries, supporting events, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure smooth operations. You will contribute to enhancing the overall workplace experience through proactive service delivery, attention to detail, and adherence to established operational procedures.

Job Description

We are looking for a natural host with excellent communication skills who can manage enquiries, support events, and collaborate effectively with onsite teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional front-of-house customer service, ensuring all visitors feel welcome and supported
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries, requests, and telephone calls
  • Manage visitor registration, access, and security processes in line with site procedures
  • Coordinate room bookings and maintain accurate, up-to-date booking systems
  • Support onsite management with high-profile events and workplace experience initiatives
  • Conduct regular building checks, reporting faults and maintaining reception standards
  • Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and wider teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Complete administrative duties and daily tasks in line with site SOPs and compliance requirements

Person Specification

  • Experience working in a high-profile or customer-facing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a highly confidential environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and working under time pressure
  • Previous reception, customer service, and administrative experience (desirable)
  • First Aid qualification (preferred; training provided)
  • IOSH qualification (preferred; training provided)
