Role: Receptionist (Part Time)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 12:30pm - 5:30pm (25 hours per week - some flexibility on start and finish time may be considered)

Salary: £17,828 (FTE 28,525)

Location: Chesterfield, S41

Our client, a leading organisation based centrally in Chesterfield, is seeking a part-time Receptionist to join their team.

The Role:

As the first point of contact for our clients and their visitors, your role will be vital in creating a positive impression! You'll collaborate with every colleague and department, ensuring seamless communication and support across the organisation.

Duties will include:

  • Answer the general enquiry telephone line politely, professionally and efficiently.
  • Screen, filter and route calls to the right person or department, and take clear, concise messages.
  • Meet and greet guests, with a smart, professional appearance, and maintain access control of the building.
  • Order and control stock of stationery, print cartridges, cleaning supplies, and refreshments.
  • Booking meeting rooms, ensure that meeting rooms are prepared and arranging any required catering
  • Receiving deliveries, parcels and managing all outgoing post
  • Supporting the team with administrative duties and ad hoc projects as needed.

Person Specification

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A warm and professional demeanour, both in person and over the phone.
  • Clear communication and organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to juggle multiple calls, guests, and tasks effortlessly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in a reception or front-of-house role is desirable
