Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Hours: Approximately 8:30am – 5:00pm daily
We are currently recruiting for a professional, friendly and reliable Temporary Receptionist to provide front-of-house support at a busy site in Sheffield.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reception area runs smoothly and providing a welcoming and professional first impression to all visitors, clients and colleagues.
Assignment Details
- Handover: 16th September
- Temporary cover: 17th – 22nd September
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Working hours: Approximately 8:30am – 5:00pm daily
- Pay: £15.00 per hour
As the Receptionist, your duties will include:
- Welcoming visitors and ensuring they are signed in and directed appropriately
- Answering and transferring incoming telephone calls in a professional and efficient manner
- Managing the reception area and ensuring it remains tidy and presentable
- Handling incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and couriers
- Responding to general enquiries and providing assistance to visitors and colleagues
- Managing meeting room bookings and preparing rooms where required
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team
- Assisting with day-to-day office and front-of-house duties
- Maintaining a professional and welcoming environment at all times
The ideal candidate will be:
- Friendly, approachable and professional
- Confident communicating with people at all levels
- Organised and able to manage a variety of tasks
- Comfortable working independently and using their own initiative
- Reliable and punctual
- Experienced in a reception, front-of-house, customer service or administrative role
