Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Part Time, Tuesday-Thursday 8am-5pm

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management provider for a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join their front of house team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys providing first-class customer service and creating a welcoming environment for visitors, colleagues and contractors. As the first point of contact, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception while supporting wider workplace services and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome visitors, colleagues and contractors in a friendly, professional and approachable manner.

  • Manage visitor sign-in procedures and ensure all guests receive a positive arrival experience.

  • Issue, monitor and collect visitor passes in line with site security procedures.

  • Handle temporary passes, lost passes and access-related enquiries.

  • Maintain a clean, organised and professional reception area at all times.

  • Respond to workplace and reception enquiries, providing excellent customer service.

  • Coordinate incoming deliveries, ensuring parcels and deliveries are logged and distributed efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate visitor records and reception documentation.

  • Replenish visitor passes, reception supplies and workplace materials as required.

  • Provide general administrative support to the Workplace Services team.

  • Liaise with Security, Facilities and Helpdesk teams to resolve queries promptly.

  • Follow all health and safety, emergency and visitor management procedures.

  • Promote a positive workplace experience through professionalism and excellent communication.

About You

We're looking for an organised, friendly and proactive individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential
  • Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front of House, Customer Service or Administrative role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.

  • Professional, confident and approachable manner.

  • Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

  • Comfortable working in a busy, customer-facing environment.

Desirable
  • Experience within Facilities Management, Corporate Reception or Workplace Services.

  • Experience using visitor management or access control systems.

  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.

  • Customer Service or Administration qualifications.

  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
