is seeking a talented and proactive Recruitment & Resourcing Manager to lead the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive and responsive recruitment service. In this pivotal role, you'll help attract exceptional talent that supports groundbreaking cancer research and scientific innovation.



The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief HR Officer, you will lead and develop the recruitment function, driving innovative attraction strategies, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience and supporting hiring managers in securing top talent across a diverse range of roles.



Key Responsibilities

βœ… Lead end-to-end recruitment activity across scientific, technical, clinical and professional services roles

βœ… Develop and implement proactive resourcing and talent attraction strategies

βœ… Partner with managers to understand workforce requirements and future hiring needs

βœ… Manage recruitment systems and applicant tracking platforms

βœ… Lead immigration and sponsorship processes, ensuring compliance with UKVI requirements

βœ… Coach and develop Recruitment Officers within the team

βœ… Drive continuous improvement and best practice across recruitment processes

βœ… Enhance employer branding through social media, career events and recruitment campaigns



About You

You'll have:

βœ” Significant recruitment and resourcing experience within a complex organisation

βœ” Experience developing recruitment strategies and advising hiring managers

βœ” Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and recruitment best practice

βœ” Experience managing recruitment systems and processes

βœ” Understanding of right-to-work requirements and UK immigration processes

βœ” Previous line management experience

βœ” CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience)

βœ” Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills
