We’re looking for an ambitious, charismatic and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our specialist recruitment team in Shifnal.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter, sales professional or someone with the personality, drive and determination to build a successful career in recruitment.

You’ll be working within an established specialist recruitment business, recruiting across the automation, controls, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and manufacturing sectors.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys picking up the phone, building relationships, winning business and matching great people with great companies.

The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll have responsibility for developing your own clients and candidates, with support from an experienced team and an established database.

Your role will include:

• Developing and managing new and existing client relationships
• Identifying new recruitment opportunities and winning vacancies
• Sourcing and attracting high-quality engineering candidates
• Advertising vacancies and proactively searching our extensive database
• Conducting candidate interviews and telephone screening
• Matching candidates to suitable opportunities
• Managing the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement
• Negotiating offers and managing the relationship with both client and candidate
• Regularly speaking with clients to understand their recruitment requirements
• Developing long-term relationships and generating repeat business
• Maintaining accurate records and activity within our CRM

Previous recruitment experience would be advantageous, particularly within technical, engineering or industrial recruitment.

However, we would also consider an experienced B2B sales professional, account manager or business development executive who has the right personality and wants to move into recruitment.

🕣 Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
