Crem Recruitment is an established independent recruitment agency supplying temporary and permanent staff across the Industrial, Manufacturing, Logistics and Commercial sectors throughout Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

We're looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Industrial team, taking over an established temporary recruitment desk with existing clients, regular vacancies and immediate opportunities to generate revenue.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, developing business and delivering an excellent recruitment service. The post holder will need to be commercially minded, organised and confident managing both clients and candidates in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

You'll take ownership of an established Industrial desk, managing existing client accounts while identifying opportunities to grow the business. You'll be responsible for filling temporary vacancies across warehouse, manufacturing, production and logistics, ensuring clients receive a consistently high level of service.

This is a busy, hands-on role where you'll balance account management, business development, candidate attraction and day-to-day recruitment activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing Industrial clients.
  • Build long-term client relationships through regular contact and site visits.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and win new business.
  • Source, interview and register temporary workers.
  • Manage the recruitment process from vacancy qualification through to placement.
  • Fill daily, weekly and ongoing temporary staffing requirements.
  • Advertise vacancies and proactively source candidates using a variety of channels.
  • Ensure compliance, right-to-work checks and accurate candidate records.
  • Monitor attendance, performance and worker engagement.
  • Work towards agreed revenue and performance targets.
  • Deliver a professional and responsive service to both clients and candidates.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous recruitment experience, ideally within Industrial, Manufacturing, Logistics or temporary recruitment.
  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
  • A proven ability to generate new business and develop existing accounts.
  • A commercial approach with the confidence to negotiate and identify opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to prioritise and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A full UK driving licence.
