The Role and About You

As a Recruitment Consultant operating within the Mechanical Design sector, you'll work in a specialist, high-value market where technical expertise and relationships are key. You'll work alongside an experienced Principal Recruitment Consultant, gaining access to an established network of industry contacts that provides a genuine head start from day one.

Using this strong foundation, you'll develop your own client base, generate new business, identify hiring opportunities and deliver exceptional talent solutions to leading engineering organisations. In return, you'll build a profitable recruitment desk in a market known for repeat business, long-term client relationships and uncapped earning potential.

You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, combining candidate management with proactive client development with a long-term aim of developing your own client base, revenue stream and reputation within the Mechanical Design sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing relationships with clients and candidates within the Mechanical Design sector.
• Proactively identifying new business opportunities and generating vacancies.
• Sourcing, interviewing and managing high-quality candidates.
• Building specialist market knowledge to become a trusted recruitment partner.
• Managing recruitment processes from initial vacancy through to successful placement.
• Working closely with an experienced Principal Consultant to develop your sales approach, commercial awareness and recruitment expertise.
