Recruitment Consultant (Perm and Freelance)

Location: Altrincham, Manchester
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 basic salary + uncapped commission (DOE)

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Altrincham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter who wants to accelerate their career within a dynamic, supportive, and high-performing business.

Whilst experience within Construction Recruitment would be highly advantageous, we are open to speaking with recruiters from any sector who can demonstrate a successful track record in business development, client management, and candidate placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Identify and win new business opportunities through proactive sales activity.
• Source, screen, interview, and manage candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy qualification through to placement.
• Build and maintain a strong network of candidates and industry contacts.
• Negotiate terms of business and placement fees.
• Deliver an exceptional level of service to clients and candidates.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team performance targets.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months' experience as a Recruitment Consultant.
• Construction recruitment experience is desirable but not essential.
• Recruiters from any sector background will be considered.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and resilient approach to business development.
• Highly motivated, target-driven, and career-focused.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
