Location: Leicester, LE19 1SX (Commutable from Hinckley, Coventry, Loughborough and Nuneaton)

Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Optima UK is looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join our established team in Leicester.

Whether you're an experienced Recruitment Consultant looking for a new challenge or have a proven background in B2B sales, business development or outbound telesales, we want to hear from you.

You'll have the opportunity to develop your own client base, build long-term business relationships and progress your career within a supportive recruitment agency.

Experience We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with previous experience in recruitment, sales or a similar commercially focused role.

Ideally, you'll have experience in at least one of the following:

• Recruitment consultancy (agency or in-house)
• B2B sales or business development
• Outbound telesales or cold calling
• Account management with sales targets
• Lead generation or new business development

You'll also need to be:

• Confident approaching new businesses and speaking with decision-makers
• Comfortable making outbound calls and generating new business
• Motivated by targets and achieving results
• Proactive, resilient and commercially minded
• Organised with strong communication skills
• Able to build and maintain professional relationships

What You'll Be Doing

• Generating new business through outbound calls and prospecting
• Building relationships with new and existing clients
• Developing and managing your own sales pipeline
• Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates
• Matching candidates to temporary, contract and permanent vacancies
• Managing the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement
• Working towards individual and team targets
• Maintaining accurate candidate and client records on our CRM system
