Location: Hybrid - 2 days per week in office (Ipswich, Northampton, West Midlands, Milton Keynes or Cambridgeshire) / 3 days from home
Salary: Competitive + Bonus
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (37 hours per week)

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Social Care Recruitment Consultant to join our Managed Service team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist team supporting local authorities across the UK with the recruitment of professionals who make a real difference in their communities. While Qualified Social Workers form a significant part of our recruitment activity, we also recruit for a broad range of roles including:

  • Children's and Adults' Social Workers to Service Managers
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Family Support Workers
  • Youth Justice Professionals
  • Health Visitors
  • SEN Professionals
  • Other specialist social care and education roles

Working within our Managed Service team, you will build strong relationships with local authority clients, agency suppliers and our in house direct recruitment team to deliver outstanding recruitment solutions across children's and adults' services.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving recruitment challenges and delivering excellent customer service within a fast-paced and rewarding environment.


What You'll Do

  • Build strong relationships with local authority clients and develop a thorough understanding of their recruitment needs and workforce challenges.
  • Work closely with our in house direct recruitment team to fill vacancies across children's and adults' services.
  • Manage relationships with agency suppliers to ensure vacancies are filled effectively when direct recruitment solutions are not available.
  • Source, screen and shortlist suitable candidates against client requirements.
  • Advertise vacancies across job boards, websites and social media platforms.
  • Coordinate interviews and manage the end to end recruitment process.
  • Prepare candidate profiles and submit suitable applicants to clients.
  • Keep clients, candidates and suppliers informed throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Negotiate pay rates and placement arrangements.
  • Work closely with the Compliance Team to ensure all candidates meet compliance requirements before placement.
  • Maintain accurate records and data within recruitment systems.
  • Attend client meetings, supplier calls and workforce planning discussions.
  • Manage customer experience, including feedback, satisfaction monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Support service improvement initiatives and business development activities.
  • Achieve agreed KPIs and operational targets.

Previous recruitment experience is desirable, particularly within social care, public sector, healthcare, education or managed service recruitment. However, we are equally interested in individuals with strong experience in customer service, account management, stakeholder engagement or relationship management who are looking to develop a career in recruitment.
