The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll manage an established desk across the West Midlands, building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.
You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing the full 360 recruitment process
  • Developing new business across the West Midlands
  • Building and nurturing long-term client relationships
  • Registering, interviewing and supporting high-quality candidates
  • Arranging and attending face-to-face client meetings
  • Matching the right people to the right opportunities
  • Delivering an outstanding recruitment experience from start to finish
  • This is a business that measures quality over quantity. Expectations include around candidate registrations, face-to-face client meetings, business development calls and maintaining an up-to-date contact pipeline.

About You
To succeed as a Recruitment Consultant, you'll already have agency recruitment experience and enjoy building genuine relationships rather than relying on hard selling.
You'll ideally have:

  • At least 12-18 months' recruitment experience
  • A consultative, professional approach
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Confidence developing business and managing client relationships
  • A proactive, organised approach to managing your desk
  • The ability to build trust with both clients and candidates
  • Sector experience isn't essential. What's more important is your attitude, your professionalism and your commitment to delivering an exceptional service.
