The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll manage an established desk across the West Midlands, building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing the full 360 recruitment process
- Developing new business across the West Midlands
- Building and nurturing long-term client relationships
- Registering, interviewing and supporting high-quality candidates
- Arranging and attending face-to-face client meetings
- Matching the right people to the right opportunities
- Delivering an outstanding recruitment experience from start to finish
- This is a business that measures quality over quantity. Expectations include around candidate registrations, face-to-face client meetings, business development calls and maintaining an up-to-date contact pipeline.
About You
To succeed as a Recruitment Consultant, you'll already have agency recruitment experience and enjoy building genuine relationships rather than relying on hard selling.
You'll ideally have:
- At least 12-18 months' recruitment experience
- A consultative, professional approach
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confidence developing business and managing client relationships
- A proactive, organised approach to managing your desk
- The ability to build trust with both clients and candidates
- Sector experience isn't essential. What's more important is your attitude, your professionalism and your commitment to delivering an exceptional service.
