Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 (Negotiable DOE) + Uncapped Commission

Employment Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm)

You will be joining Oval Deene Recruitment, a specialist division of Simon Acres Group Ltd. We aren’t just another recruitment agency, we are specialist market leaders operating across the KBB (Kitchens, Bedrooms, Bathrooms) and Merchant industries. Because we are growing rapidly, we are looking for an experienced, driven, and commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Tunbridge Wells.

We pride ourselves on a culture that supports its people. In our Tunbridge Wells office, you will work directly alongside our award-winning Director and a dedicated Recruitment Coordinator, giving you incredible daily mentorship. Furthermore, you’ll be fully backed by our main team in Higham Ferrers. To set you up to succeed, you will receive an in-depth, hands-on induction and training program during your first few days, delivered both face-to-face and over video call.

About the Role 

This is a full 360 recruitment role where you get true ownership of your desk but with a massive head start. To get the ball rolling, we will hand you a selection of live roles from our key accounts on day one. No staring at a blank screen wondering where your first deal is coming from.

That said, we need a hunter. You should be someone who genuinely loves the buzz of the chase and has zero hesitation hitting the phones. You’ll be confidently juggling B2B client development and B2C candidate management, building relationships that last. If you thrive on autonomy but want the backing of an established brand, you’ll love it here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the process from initial cold/warm outreach to that satisfying "you got the job" phone call

  • Confidently drive B2B business development and B2C candidate sourcing

  • Take the reins on existing client relationships and deliver top-tier talent for their live roles

  • Source, screen, and interview the absolute best candidates in our sectors

  • Coordinate interviews, manage job offers, and handle fee negotiations

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on our CRM (because data and process-driven recruiters bill more!)

Requirements / Skills

  • 2+ years of proven experience in a 360 recruitment role

  • You view the phone as your best tool, not a chore. You are fearless with both B2B and B2C cold and warm calling.

  • A strong business development track record with a history of hitting and exceeding billing targets

  • Excellent communication skills, you can charm clients and reassure candidates with ease

  • Highly organised, proactive, and commercially sharp enough to run your desk.

  • While previous recruitment experience within the KBB or Merchant industry would be advantageous, it isn't essential. We'll provide comprehensive training and support to help you develop into a specialist KBB recruiter.
