Helping someone secure their next job starts with finding the right person, having the right conversation and making the recruitment process straightforward from day one. As a Recruitment Resourcer with The Butchers Recruiter, you’ll help us attract, engage and onboard candidates for clients across food manufacturing, industrial, logistics and production environments.
 
We’re continuing to grow our Coventry team, giving you the opportunity to build valuable skills within a busy, expanding business. You’ll speak with candidates every day, manage applications from initial contact through to placement and help our clients access the people they need.
 
Previous recruitment experience would be useful, but it isn’t essential. If your background is in customer service, telesales, sales, call centres or another telephone-based environment, we’ll provide the training and support you need to develop.

Your responsibilities as Recruitment Resourcer
  • Source suitable candidates through job boards, social media, referrals and internal databases
  • Conduct telephone screening interviews to assess suitability for available vacancies
  • Manage applications from initial contact through onboarding, induction and placement
  • Complete compliance documentation and right-to-work checks, maintaining accurate candidate records
  • Build talent pools to support current vacancies and future recruitment campaigns
  • Keep candidates informed throughout the process while working closely with colleagues to fill vacancies efficiently
 
What we’re looking for in a Recruitment Resourcer
  • Experience in recruitment, customer service, telesales, sales, call centres or another telephone-based environment would be advantageous
  • Confident telephone communication skills with the ability to screen and assess candidates effectively
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Good IT skills and attention to detail when maintaining candidate and compliance records
  • The ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with candidates
 
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 7:00pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
