About the Role

Are you a confident communicator with a caring approach? We're recruiting a Recruitment Support Officer to join a busy fostering team in Cardiff. This is a rewarding, people-focused role supporting local people as they take their first steps towards becoming foster carers. You'll be the first point of contact for fostering enquiries, providing clear information, reassurance, and guidance while helping applicants progress through the early stages of the process.

Key Duties
  • Handle fostering enquiries by phone, email and face-to-face.
  • Guide potential foster carers through the initial recruitment journey.
  • Arrange and support home visits and early-stage discussions.
  • Maintain accurate records and progress enquiries efficiently.
  • Support local fostering recruitment events and awareness activities.
About You

You'll be organised, approachable and confident dealing with people from a wide range of backgrounds. Strong communication, administration and record-keeping skills are essential.

Experience in fostering, children's services, social care, recruitment, customer service, community engagement or local authority work would be highly beneficial.
