Take ownership of an existing Midlands recruitment operation with a team and established client relationships already in place. If you're an experienced recruiter ready for more responsibility, this Recruitment Team Leader / Divisional Manager / Senior Recruitment Consultant role gives you the opportunity to lead from the front, improve performance and build something of your own. You'll be joining an established recruitment business investing in its Midlands operation, with plans to relocate the office to Birmingham or the immediate outskirts.

The Role
As Recruitment Team Leader / Divisional Manager / Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will:

  • Take responsibility for a small Midlands recruitment operation
  • Lead from the front with your own 360 recruitment activity
  • Coach, develop and motivate the existing team
  • Improve consistency, accountability and overall performance
  • Develop existing client and PSL relationships and turn them into revenue
  • Identify and win new business opportunities
  • Strengthen the White Collar and Trades recruitment offering
  • Build strong relationships with clients and candidates
  • Help shape and grow the team as the operation develops
  • Work closely with the Regional Director to improve commercial performance


About You
To be successful as Recruitment Team Leader / Divisional Manager / Senior Recruitment Consultant, you'll ideally be:

  • An experienced 360 recruiter with a strong billing history
  • A current Team Leader, aspiring Manager or successful Consultant ready to step into leadership
  • Experienced within White Collar or Trades recruitment, ideally within construction
  • Commercially strong and confident developing existing client relationships
  • Comfortable driving performance and getting the best from a team
  • Someone who enjoys coaching and developing others
  • Ambitious, driven and ready to take more ownership
  • A strong personality who can lead from the front while still being a team player
  • This isn't about walking into a large, polished operation and simply keeping things ticking over. It's an opportunity to take a small team with an existing client base, improve what is already there and have a real say in how the Midlands business develops.
