Recycling Operative

Job Title: Recycling Operative – Picking Line

Job Type: Full-Time / Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours: 2PM-10PM

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Recycling Operatives to join our team on a picking line. This role involves manually picking items from a conveyor belt and transferring them into designated bins according to category. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary, just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and pick items accurately from a moving conveyor belt
• Place items into appropriate bins based on product type
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily targets
• Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail
• This is a physically demanding role and you must be able to stand for extended periods
• Punctual, dependable, and able to follow instructions
• Willing to work as part of a team
• No previous experience required – full training provided
