Sort Line Operative
Location: Leatherhead, KT22
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:15am – 5:00pm
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
Smart Solutions is currently recruiting for a Sort Line Operative to join a busy recycling facility in Leatherhead.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, offering consistent weekday hours and the opportunity to contribute to sustainable waste and recycling operations.
The Role
As a Sort Line Operative, you will play an important part in the recycling process by identifying and separating recyclable materials from a moving conveyor belt to ensure they are processed correctly.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking selected materials from a moving conveyor belt
- Separating recyclable materials into the correct chutes
- Carrying out general duties across the site
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
- Maximising quality and recovery rates
- Following all site health and safety procedures
