What You'll Be Doing
Modelling FCCU operation using the Aspen suite of software
Building and running dynamic simulations
Analysing potential relief events surrounding the FCCU
Developing steady-state models to underpin the analysis
Applying deep FCCU process knowledge to validate model behaviour
Assessing unit performance and upset scenarios
Supporting the technical team with findings and recommendations
What Makes You a Great Fit
Proven subject matter expertise in refinery FCCU operation
Highly competent in modelling FCCU operation and relief events
Strong working knowledge of the Aspen suite
Experience with refinery process simulation tools beneficial
Solid understanding of relief scenarios and process safety in a refining context
Refinery process engineering background
