Are you an experienced Engineer in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning? Do you have a passion for sharing your knowledge and developing future professionals? They are seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as a Lecturer in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and supporting students’ progression towards successful completion of their courses.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Deliver practical and theory programmes of learning to Refrigeration & Air Conditioning apprentices including; Health & safety in the industry, the fundamental principles & applications in RACHP, the functions of RACHP systems and components, the service and maintenance of equipment, understanding the electrical systems, commissioning and fault finding RACHP systems.

Incorporate new technologies into delivery methods, ensuring engaging and inclusive learning experiences with the support of our Lead Practitioners.

Integrate Maths & English into teaching.

Manage student morale and discipline, working closely with college managers and the team.

Record and report data accurately, including eILPs, e-registers, assessments, and student progress records.

Stay up-to-date with academic and vocational subjects, maintaining industry links.

Involve students in assessing their learning and understanding the wider context of their specialist area.

Participate in their quality cycle and maintain accurate assessment records.

Liaise with course teams, student support, and parents/carers as needed.

What we’re looking for:

Relevant qualifications and experience in Refrigeration & HVAC Engineering.

Qualified F-Gas engineer.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Commitment to continuous professional development.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and equal opportunities policies.

GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English.

Mon - Thurs 8:30am-5pm - 7.5 daily, 30 hours for 4 days

Fri 8:30am-4pm - 6.5 hours
