Refrigeration Engineer – East Midlands

Salary: Up to £49,000 + door-to-door travel
Location: Mobile – East Midlands
Hours: Monday–Friday, 45 hours per week

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join an established commercial maintenance contract covering the East Midlands.

The Role

• Mobile role, approximately 60% reactive / 40% PPM, covering servicing, maintenance, breakdowns, fault finding and minor installation works.
• Monday–Friday, 45 hours per week, with start times between 7–8am and finishes between 4:30–5:30pm.
• 1 in 5 call-out rota, with call-out built into the salary and time-and-a-half paid when called out.
• Work professionally around clients and site staff, completing maintenance records and working to agreed SLAs.
• 11-hour minimum rest period between shifts.

Requirements

• F-Gas Category 1
• CO₂ refrigeration experience/qualification
• NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent
• Strong commercial refrigeration maintenance and breakdown experience
• Hydrocarbon experience advantageous
• Full UK driving licence

• Up to £49,000 + door-to-door

• 22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 3 years
