Are you ready to make a difference in your community? Our client is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Loaders to assist with refuse and recycling collections. This temporary role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to public services while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic environment.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 5:45 am to 2:15 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out daily refuse and recycling collections, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.
Utilise your skills and knowledge of machinery to operate equipment safely and effectively.
Employ safe lifting and handling techniques when dealing with articles left for removal.
Make use of in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed to enhance operational efficiency.
Complete relevant paperwork in real time to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Conduct daily inspections of machinery and vehicles before and after use, reporting any issues promptly.
Maintain the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles to uphold safety and professionalism.
Foster excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. The ability to engage positively with the public is essential, as is the capability to work effectively within a team. Previous experience in refuse collection or a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
