Interim Regional HR Manager – 2–3 Month Contract
Home-based with regular travel to sites across Cardiff, Reading, Wiltshire, Tottenham & Clacton, Company Car Provided.
  
Are you an experienced HR Manager / Regional HR professional looking for an immediate interim opportunity?
We’re working with a well-established, multi-site organisation that is looking for an experienced Regional HR Manager to provide hands-on HR support across a number of operational sites during a period of transition.
This is a genuinely varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the operation, working with managers and getting involved in practical employee relations.
  
You’ll work closely with site leaders and line managers, providing trusted HR advice and support across a geographically dispersed workforce.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to site and operational managers
  • Managing and advising on employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Supporting with absence and sickness management, including longer-term cases
  • Advising on redundancies, contract changes and other HR initiatives
  • Working with managers and occupational health providers on complex absence cases
  • Producing HR and employee relations MI and reporting
  • Ensuring personnel files, contracts and right-to-work documentation are maintained correctly
  • Supporting HR policy and process updates
  • Advising managers on performance and employee-related issues
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple locations
  • Supporting employee engagement and wider HR initiatives
  
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and operate confidently in a standalone/regional HR capacity.
You’ll ideally have:
  • Strong experience in a HR Manager, Regional HR Manager or HR Business Partner role
  • Solid employee relations experience
  • Confidence managing disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases
  • Experience working with operational/site-based management teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A pragmatic, commercial and solutions-focused approach
  • The ability to work independently across multiple locations
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
