Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Car Allowance
Location: Hampshire with regional travel

Our client, a leading provider of integrated facilities management and infrastructure solutions is hiring for an experienced Regional Operations (Facilities) Manager to lead FM delivery across a portfolio of high-profile MOD establishments throughout Hampshire..

You will oversee the delivery of hard FM services across a regional portfolio that includes key Defence establishments such as RAF Odiham, Worthy Down, Army Headquarters Andover, Middle Wallop and Baker Barracks. Working closely with site-based Facilities Managers, engineering teams and specialist subcontractors, you will be responsible for ensuring contractual performance, operational efficiency and statutory compliance across the estate. This is a highly visible client-facing role requiring strong leadership, stakeholder management and technical FM expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational delivery of hard FM services across multiple Defence sites.
  • Manage planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and lifecycle activities across the built estate.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of minor and major refurbishment projects.
  • Manage both directly employed engineering teams and specialist subcontractors.
  • Ensure contractual KPIs, SLAs and performance targets are consistently achieved.
  • Drive improvements in operational performance, efficiency and first-time fix rates.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory, contractual and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with MOD stakeholders and key client representatives.
  • Monitor financial performance, resource allocation and operational budgets.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the regional portfolio.

 

About You

  • Significant experience managing hard FM contracts across large and complex estates.
  • Strong technical understanding of building services, M&E and fabric maintenance.
  • Experience leading large operational teams across multiple sites.
  • Demonstrable experience managing subcontractor performance and service delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of KPI, SLA and contract performance management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation, compliance requirements and CDM regulations.
  • Knowledge of SFG20 and statutory maintenance obligations.
  • Full UK driving licence.
