Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of Facilities Management services across a portfolio of government sites within the West region.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for ensuring the effective operational delivery of both hard and soft Facilities Management services across a geographically dispersed estate. The successful candidate will lead operational teams, maintain high service standards, and ensure the consistent achievement of contractual requirements.

The Regional Operations Manager will play a key role in building and maintaining long-term client relationships while driving operational performance across multiple sites. The position requires strong commercial awareness, effective stakeholder management, and the ability to create a positive and collaborative working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operational delivery of Facilities Management services across the region.
  • Oversee both hard and soft Facilities Management service lines.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled and agreed service levels are achieved.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Manage service delivery across a varied estate, including offices, warehouses, and port cabins.
  • Monitor, review, and drive operational performance across multiple sites within the region.
  • Maintain budgetary control and P&L responsibility to support commercial performance.
  • Provide oversight of key-holding and security-related activities where required, ensuring effective service delivery within government environments.

Person Specification

  • Strong operational Facilities Management experience.
  • Experience managing a regional or multi-site portfolio.
  • Proven ability to oversee both hard and soft FM services.
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working to contractual service levels and performance standards.
  • Budgetary and P&L management experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and operational focus.
  • Full UK driving licence required (car/car allowance provided).
