We are recruiting on behalf of a leading renewable energy wholesaler that is continuing to expand following significant growth across the UK market.

With a strong reputation for service, technical expertise and product availability, the business supplies Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging solutions to a growing network of installers, contractors and renewable energy specialists.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to take ownership of the South West region and drive further market share growth.

The Role

Reporting into the Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth throughout the South West region, developing relationships with installers, contractors, EPCs and renewable energy businesses.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing new business opportunities across Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging

• Growing revenue across existing installer and contractor accounts

• Identifying and winning new customers throughout the South West

• Building strong relationships with key decision makers

• Delivering product presentations and commercial reviews

• Working closely with internal sales and technical support teams

• Maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities and projects

• Monitoring market activity and competitor developments

About You

Solar PV

Battery Storage (BESS)

EV Charging

Electrical Wholesale

Renewable Energy Distribution

Electrical Contracting

Key Requirements

Proven B2B sales experience

Experience within renewable energy, electrical wholesale or a related technical sector

• Strong relationship-building and account development skills

• New business development experience

• Commercially driven and target focused approach

• Full UK driving licence

Territory

The successful candidate will manage the South West region, developing relationships with installers and contractors across areas including:

• Bristol

• Gloucestershire

• Somerset

• Devon

• Cornwall

• Dorset

• Wiltshire
