About the RoleAs the Care Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the management and performance of the residential care home, ensuring exceptional standards of care, regulatory compliance and resident satisfaction.
Working closely with your senior leadership team, you will inspire and develop your colleagues while creating a positive culture that delivers outstanding care and achieves excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operation of a residential care home.
- Lead, coach and develop a dedicated care team.
- Deliver outstanding person-centred residential care.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and best practice.
- Prepare for and achieve positive CQC inspections.
- Manage occupancy, staffing levels, budgets and quality standards.
- Confidently use digital care planning systems, care management software and Microsoft Office.
- Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and local authorities.
- Drive continuous improvement across all areas of the home.
To be considered, you must have:
- Experience as a Care Home Manager, Residential Home Manager or Registered Manager within a residential care setting (essential).
- A strong track record of managing a successful residential care home.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance, governance and quality assurance.
- Strong leadership, team management and people development skills.
- Excellent IT skills, including experience with electronic care planning systems, care management software and Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care and achieving excellent outcomes for residents.
- £40,000-£50,000 basic salary
