Registered Care Manager – Domiciliary Care

Verity Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Care Manager to lead and develop our domiciliary care services in Norwich.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated leader with a strong background in domiciliary care who is passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care while driving operational excellence and maintaining full CQC compliance.

About the Role

As the Registered Care Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the branch, ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality care is delivered to all service users. You will lead and support the care team, oversee compliance, build relationships with commissioners and healthcare professionals, and drive the continued growth and success of the service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service.
• Ensure compliance with all CQC regulations, legislation, and company policies.
• Lead, motivate, mentor, and develop the office and care teams.
• Recruit, supervise, and retain high-quality care staff.
• Oversee client assessments, care plans, and regular care reviews.
• Maintain excellent relationships with service users, families, local authorities, commissioners, and healthcare professionals.
• Monitor quality assurance, audits, spot checks, complaints, incidents, and safeguarding concerns.
• Ensure rotas and care packages are managed efficiently to maintain excellent continuity of care.
• Drive branch performance, occupancy, and business growth.
• Prepare for and lead CQC inspections.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Registered Care Manager or an experienced Care Manager within domiciliary care.
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or be actively working towards it).
• Excellent knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards, safeguarding, and care legislation.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills.
• Experience managing staff performance, recruitment, and compliance.
• The ability to build strong relationships with clients, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
