About the Role
As Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing the care service, ensuring residents receive exceptional, personalised support that enables them to continue living life on their own terms.
Working closely with the Village Manager and wider leadership team, you will:
- Lead the delivery of a high-quality domiciliary care service within the community
- Ensure care and support are personalised, responsive and aligned with regulatory requirements
- Build trusted relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external partners
- Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated team of care professionals
- Support residents to maintain independence, wellbeing and confidence in their own homes
- Manage service performance, quality standards and budgets
- Help shape the continued growth and success of the care offering within the village
This is a dynamic role where you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact balancing outstanding care delivery with relationship building, leadership and service development.
About You
You will be a compassionate and experienced care professional who understands that great care is about more than meeting needs, it is about supporting people to live the lifestyle they choose.
You will have:
✔ Experience managing a care service at a senior level
✔ Strong leadership and team management skills
✔ Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including CQC standards
✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
✔ Experience managing budgets and service performance
✔ A proactive and solution-focused approach
✔ The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider leadership team
You will be approachable, organised and passionate about creating a positive experience for residents, families and colleagues.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Senior-level experience within health and social care
- Experience leading and developing care teams
- Experience working with residents, families and healthcare professionals
- Understanding of compliance, quality assurance and safeguarding
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care, RMA or equivalent (or willingness to work towards this)
- Full UK driving licence
