Registered Home Manager

Cityworx are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to take overall responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of an established specialist residential care home.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who is passionate about dementia care, person-centred support and delivering high-quality outcomes for residents.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the care home, leading an experienced team and ensuring the care home continues to provide safe, compassionate and high-quality care while maintaining strong regulatory and operational standards.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overall leadership and management of the residential care home.
• Ensuring consistently high standards of person-centred dementia care.
• Maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations and standards.
• Leading, developing and supporting the management and care teams.
• Managing recruitment, retention, supervision and staff development.
• Ensuring effective care planning, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
• Monitoring quality assurance, audits, incidents and complaints.
• Preparing for and managing CQC inspections.
• Working closely with residents, families and external healthcare professionals.
• Managing staffing levels and ensuring safe workforce planning.
• Maintaining a positive and supportive culture throughout the service.
• Driving continuous improvement across the home.
• Supporting the commercial and operational performance of the service.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager with a strong background in residential care and, ideally, specialist experience working with people living with dementia. You will need previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager within residential or nursing care as well as relevant Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management for Adult Care, or equivalent.

You should be comfortable balancing the operational, regulatory and people-management requirements of the role while ensuring that residents remain at the centre of every decision.
