Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Home Manager based in Bargoed, your daily duties will include:

• Leading, coaching, and developing a staff team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities

• Ensuring robust safeguarding practice, effective governance, and strong regulatory compliance in line with CIW standards and relevant legislation

• Supporting day-to-day operations in your role as a Registered Home Manager to ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance

• Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, audits, and quality assurance activity to drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes

• Managing recruitment, supervision, appraisals, performance management, rotas, and on-call responsibilities to maintain safe staffing and service delivery

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful as a Registered Home Manager, you will need:

• Proven management experience within a learning disability residential setting

• Proven experience working as a Registered Home Manager or in a similar residential care setting with leadership responsibilities

• Strong practical knowledge of safeguarding, medication management, quality standards, and regulatory compliance (including CIW expectations)

• Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to complete) and proof of the right to work in the UK
