What will you be doing?
- Supporting the development and launch of a new specialist children's home.
- Building positive relationships with local professionals, education providers, health services and social care teams.
- Helping recruit, develop and support a compassionate, values-led staff team.
- Creating a positive culture built on dignity, consistency, patience and aspiration.
- Preparing a calm, nurturing home that feels like home, not an institution.
- Working closely with the Responsible Individual and Directors throughout the Ofsted registration process and beyond.
- Experience working with children with learning disabilities, autism and/or ADHD.
- Previous experience within children's residential care.
- Strong leadership skills with a child-centred approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A passion for delivering outstanding care and achieving the best outcomes for children.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards, if applicable).
