  • Manage staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, supervision, appraisals and ongoing development.
  • Monitor staff performance and address any concerns appropriately.
  • Promote a strong safeguarding culture and respond promptly to concerns or incidents.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure the service is fully prepared for CQC inspections.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, local authorities and other external agencies.
  • Support the continued development and sustainable growth of the service.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
  • A minimum Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • At least two to three years' experience in a management position within a similar adult care, domiciliary care or community-based setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and person-centred care.
  • Experience managing, supporting and developing care staff.
  • Experience completing care plans, risk assessments, audits and compliance checks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy care environment.
  • A hands-on, compassionate and professional management style.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • The ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
What's on Offer
  • A permanent position with a salary of £28,000-£30,000 per annum.
  • The opportunity to lead a small, established community care service.
  • A varied role combining operational leadership with direct client involvement.
  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference to clients, their families and the wider care team.
