  • Take ownership of the service and make a meaningful impact on residents, families and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the nursing home.

  • Monitor care quality through audits, quality assurance processes and improvement plans.
  • Ensure effective management of safeguarding concerns, incidents, complaints and risk assessments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee recruitment, staff development, supervision and performance management.
  • Manage budgets, staffing and resources effectively.
  • Promote a culture of dignity, compassion, safety and continuous improvement throughout the home.

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager in an adult care home setting.
  • Experience managing a nursing home or a strong understanding of nursing home operations and clinical governance.
  • A proven track record of maintaining regulatory compliance and driving improvements in care quality.
  • A thorough understanding of CQC requirements, safeguarding and adult social care legislation.
  • A relevant leadership and management qualification, such as Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or an accepted equivalent.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with clinical colleagues while maintaining accountability for the overall service.
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
