Position: Registered Manager
Rate: up to £63,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract Type: Permanent
Purpose:
Lead a home where children feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for by building a strong team, creating stability, and making a difference in young people’s lives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the day to day running of the home
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for children and young people
- Lead, motivate, and develop the residential care team
- Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding standards, and company policies
- Oversee care quality, compliance, staff performance, and service development
- Build positive relationships with children, families, social workers, and other professionals
- Drive the home towards strong inspection outcomes and continuous improvement
- At least 3 years in a senior role within children’s EBD care
- Previous leadership or management experience within a children’s home
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and residential care standards
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Hold Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or willingness to complete
- Full UK driving license
