- Lead the opening and day-to-day management of a solo children's home supporting a young person with emotional and behavioural needs.
- Recruit, mentor and develop a dedicated staff team.
- Embed trauma-informed, child-centred practice throughout the home.
- Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and safeguarding legislation.
- Build positive relationships with local authorities and external professionals.
- Lead Ofsted inspections and drive continuous improvement.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous Registered Manager experience, or be an experienced Deputy Manager ready to register with Ofsted.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or be working towards it within the required timeframe).
- Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
- A proven ability to lead, motivate and retain a successful team.
- Experience opening a new children's home or working within a solo provision would be advantageous but is not essential.
What's on Offer?
- Salary of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum.
- Performance bonus and clear career progression.
- Company car.
- Private healthcare.
- Company pension.
- Employee mentoring programme.
- Referral scheme.
- On-site parking.
- Casual dress.

- Ongoing leadership development and training.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate leader who wants the autonomy to build a high-quality service from the ground up while making a lasting difference to the lives of young people.
