Registered Manager – Children’s Residential LD (OFSTED)

We are working in partnership with an established and expanding provider of children’s residential care to recruit a Registered Manager for a 5-bed LD children’s home based in Sutton Coldfield.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the home, ensuring high-quality, child-centred care and strong regulatory compliance. You will lead, develop and motivate a stable staff team, embed a positive culture, and deliver positive outcomes for young people with LD.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overall management of the home in line with Ofsted regulations
• Leading, mentoring and developing the staff team
• Ensuring high standards of safeguarding, care planning and outcomes
• Maintaining compliance and inspection readiness
• Building strong relationships with placing authorities, professionals and families

The Ideal Candidate

• An experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up
• Strong knowledge of LD and children’s residential care
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
• Confident leading teams and managing compliance
• Passionate about delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes
