An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to join the leadership team of a well-established elderly nursing home.

This role is ideal for a strong care leader with a proven track record of managing nursing home services, leading teams and delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Working alongside the Regional Manager, Clinical Lead and wider leadership team, you will support compliance, quality standards and ensure excellent outcomes for residents.

You do not need to be a nurse for this role, but you must have strong operational leadership experience within a nursing home environment.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Registered Manager
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the home, creating a positive and accountable team culture.
  • Lead, support and motivate the management team, including Clinical Leads, Team Leaders and Nurses.
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care for all residents.
  • Maintain strong standards of compliance, governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure safeguarding concerns, complaints and incidents are managed professionally and effectively.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Support financial performance through effective management of fees, staffing costs and operational budgets.
  • Work collaboratively with regional support teams to deliver organisational objectives.
 
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within an elderly nursing home or similar care environment.
  • Proven experience leading and managing care services.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience managing, supporting and motivating care teams.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of occupancy, fees and staffing performance.
  • Experience working within services requiring improvement or positive change would be advantageous.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
