An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to make a real difference within an elderly care home. The home is currently rated Requires Improvement, and they are seeking an experienced and motivated care leader with the skills, passion and determination to lead the turnaround of the service and drive improvements in the quality of care.

We are seeking a confident and compassionate manager to take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring a caring, safe and homely environment for residents. You will lead, motivate and develop your team to deliver the highest standards of person-centred care while ensuring the home operates effectively and in line with CQC requirements, legislation and best practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Registered Manager who is passionate about improving care standards, developing teams and creating positive outcomes for residents. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of CQC regulations, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a genuine commitment to delivering first-class care to older people.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Registered Manager
  • Promote a caring environment for residents according to guidelines, practice, legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively lead and manage your team to promote an environment that supports dignity and respect.
  • Ensuring satisfactory measures are in place to protect the health and safety of residents and staff.
  • Ensuring financial and commercial management are to the highest standards according to company policies.
  • Using strong communication skills with all residents and staff on a daily basis.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Registered Manager within an elderly care setting.
  • Proven experience managing and leading a care team.
  • Strong understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • NVQ Level 4/5 in Leadership & Management for Adult Care
